Racing Incident Report

NAMJONG HEART jumped very awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of HONOUR GRADE which turned the hindquarters of that horse out slightly which then made contact with the shoulder of TOM'S FIRST. WINNING PARADE left the gates awkwardly, as a consequence A Marcus was momentarily unbalanced. Over the concluding stages, DIVINE FEELING hung in, as a consequence of this R Fradd was not able to ride the horse out as he normally would. About 100 Metres out, Apprentice Y T Cheng (WONDERFUL WIN) momentarily dropped his off side rein. When questioned, D Whyte (MULTIDANDY) said the horse today was generally very disappointing. He said it had been working and trialing well, but in its trials and at work had tended to be somewhat "edgy". He said however today MULTIDANDY was very relaxed in the parade and on the way to the Start. He said after being boxed the horse did play up a little bit and missed the start slightly, but this was of little or no significance. He went on to say the horse appeared to pull up satisfactorily and returned to scale normally. MULTIDANDY was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
