Racing Incident Report

Prior to being presented in the Parade Ring, SECOND OPINION had its near side front plate replated. After arriving at the barriers, the Veterinary Surgeon noted that GOLD FLASK had its tongue over the bit. This was re-positioned prior to the horse being loaded. HEART'S CONTENT began awkwardly, got its head up and lost ground. NOBLE BOY and ARROWMINT were slow to begin. On jumping, FORTUNE SALLIAN, which had been standing awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the outside of its gate. SECOND OPINION shifted out at the start and brushed INCA ROSE. Over the final 600 Metres, GRACE AND GLORY shifted ground on a number of occasions when under pressure and at about the 300 Metres shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of FORTUNE RIVER. GRACE AND GLORY was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
