Racing Incident Report

CARUSO and ACTIVE ACCOUNT were slowly away. GOLDEN CHOICE left the gates a little awkwardly. Throughout the race, CARUSO hung out. On pulling up, GOLDEN CHOICE made a significant respiratory noise. An endoscopic examination did not reveal any abnormalities. When asked about the poor run of TURF LUCK, D Whyte said he had been riding the horse in its work which he considered to be impressive. He said he had also been riding UNBREAKABLE of recent times and he considered the work of TURF LUCK was better. He did say he had the choice of rides and elected to take the mount on TURF LUCK. He said the horse jumped well and travelled satisfactorily for a short distance, but overall was very disappointing. He was unable to put forward any real reason for the run. TURF LUCK was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
