Racing Incident Report

MAGIC TEMPLE and RED WINE HONEY were slow to begin. BAJAN BELL began awkwardly and was then bumped by SHINING DAY. JUBILOSO was a little slow to begin, then shortly after the start was steadied when awkwardly placed between ONLY YOU and BULLET TRAIN which shifted in. After this, JUBILOSO was taken across behind runners. Throughout the race, BAJAN BELL travelled wide and without cover and commenced to give ground at the 700 Metres and finished tailed out. For the majority of the race, ONLY YOU travelled wide and without cover and prior to straightening commenced to give ground and finished tailed out. Following the race, B Prebble (JUBILOSO) reported the horse was not able to obtain sure footing on today's track. He said because of this he had some concerns regarding the safety of the track conditions during the running of this race. SHINING DAY, ONLY YOU and BULLET TRAIN were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SHINING DAY and ONLY YOU after the race did not show any significant findings. After the race, BULLET TRAIN was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse had bled from both nostrils. MAGIC TEMPLE and CENAMIRA were sent for sampling. Also after the race, it was reported TEMMOKU had bled from both nostrils and JUBLIOSO had sustained an injury to the right eye. Before being allowed to race again, JUBILOSO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Additional Veterinary Reports (released on 22 May 2006)
BULLET TRAIN, which performed poorly, was examined by the Senior Veterinary Officer. He said at that time the horse had bled from both nostrils. BULLET TRAIN was again examined by the Senior Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer B K Ng this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in the right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, BULLET TRAIN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
