Racing Incident Report

On jumping, VERY FIT knuckled and was then bumped by DANEHILL EXPRESS which shifted in. After this, VERY FIT despite being ridden along failed to muster speed. HELLO PRETTY was slow to begin. WEALTHY began awkwardly, got its head up, shifted in and bumped SILVER SUN. At the 500 Metres, SILVER SUN was checked when disappointed for running on the outside of AGILITY as GOOD BA BA improved around its outside. Rounding the Home Turn, WEALTHY and SIKANDER raced tight as WEALTHY was carried wider by SILVER SUN. In the early part of the Straight, WEALTHY and SIKANDER continued to race tight. Then from the 300 Metres until the 200 Metres, WEALTHY was held up and unable to obtain clear running. At the 350 Metres, AGILITY was checked when disappointed for running between GOOD BA BA and DR WELL, both of which shifted ground. In the circumstances, no action was taken. SILVER SUN, which was following, was checked severely and shifted in to avoid the heels of AGILITY. For some distance after this, SILVER SUN was not able to obtain clear running. Approaching the 300 Metres, SOUNDS BEST was shifted out in an endeavour to find clear running, then shortly afterwards was shifted back in. SOUNDS BEST then for a considerable distance approaching and passing the 200 Metres was not able to obtain clear running between INDUSTRIAL SUCCESS and RUM SHOT. Over the concluding stages, SOUNDS BEST was then steadied when awkwardly placed inside INDUSTRIAL SUCCESS which itself was carried in by NILOMETER which shifted ground. Because of this, SOUNDS BEST was not tested. Over the final 200 Metres, GOOD BA BA hung in and proved difficult to ride. SOUNDS BEST was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SOUNDS BEST after the race did not show any significant findings. HELLO PRETTY and GOOD BA BA were sent for sampling.
