Racing Incident Report

D Nikolic (FISHKING EXCELLENT) was fined $2,000 for being late into the Parade Ring. GLOBAL LEADER was slow to begin. FISHKING EXCELLENT was slow to begin and then despite being ridden along failed to muster speed. MULTO EXPRESSO began awkwardly. After the 900 Metres, FISHKING EXCELLENT was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of GREAT HERO which at this time shifted in when racing inside LIGHTNING MOUNT which had its head on the side and shifted ground. When FISHKING EXCELLENT was steadied, inconvenience was caused to GLOBAL LEADER and MACAROON, both of which were carried wider. Near the 800 Metres, GREAT HERO got its head up when being steadied while awkwardly placed close to the heels of MULTO EXPRESSO. After the 800 Metres, LOLLIPOP became unbalanced and lost ground when crowded for room inside PICTURE PERFECT which shifted in momentarily. In the middle stages, LIVERBIRD was left racing wide and without cover. Making the Home Turn, SEVENS HEAVEN hung out. After the 200 Metres, C K Tong, the rider of LOLLIPOP, stopped riding and straightened his mount. At about the 50 Metres, FORTUNE WHEEL was crowded for room when endeavouring to improve into a narrow run between LOLLIPOP and SEVENS HEAVEN, both of which shifted ground. MULTO EXPRESSO and LOLLIPOP were sent for sampling.
