Racing Incident Report
BRILLIANT FLASH and ENGINEERING WONDER were slow to begin. CONQUEROR began awkwardly, shifted in and was steadied away from the heels of MR COOL. After the 800 Metres, LUCKY RED PEPPER was bumped by BRILLIANT FLASH which at this time was carried out by CONQUEROR. Also after the 800 Metres, ENGINEERING WONDER, which was proving difficult to settle, became unbalanced and dipped when racing close to the heels of AMO. After the 50 Metres, AMO (A Delpech), which was closing the race off strongly, commenced to shift to the outside of BULLDOZER when not clear of TIGER RIDGE. A Delpech stopped riding momentarily and straightened his mount. Then close to the winning post when close to TIGER RIDGE, AMO shifted to the outside of BULLDOZER and in doing so brushed MR COOL. Throughout the race, FLYING GENERAL travelled wide and without cover. HURRAY HURRAY, BULLDOZER and JOLLY GOOD FORTUNE were sent for sampling.
