Racing Incident Report
BULB KING was withdrawn on 30.1.09 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, BULB KING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. HOLEY DOLLAR began awkwardly and lost ground. EXTRA SPECIAL was slow to begin. HAPPY PROGRESSION began awkwardly. At the 900 Metres, ELEGANT WIN became unbalanced when being steadied away from the heels of HIGH MARK. After the 400 Metres, HOLEY DOLLAR commenced to hang out. When giving ground over the final 300 Metres, WARRIOR hung in. Approaching the winning post, BOOMING CITY shifted out away from BLAZE KING which was drifting wider. Throughout the race, FORTUNE HAVEN hung out. WARRIOR was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of WARRIOR after the race did not show any significant findings. BLAZE KING and BOOMING CITY were sent for sampling.
