Racing Incident Report
LEGEND EXPRESS was crowded for room at the start between FLUKE and CARS KING PRAWN which shifted in. B Doyle (FLUKE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that passing the 250 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of EURO SWIFTLY, causing that horse to be checked and lose the running to which it was rightfully entitled. B Doyle was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Thursday, 10 February 2011 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). The commencement of the suspension was deferred until after the Sha Tin racemeeting on Sunday, 30 January 2011. Over the final 150 Metres, ARION OF CHIU TON got its head on the side and shifted out under pressure. Throughout the race, VIVA GUY travelled wide and without cover. LEGEND EXPRESS, FLUKE and BOUNCER were sent for sampling. The Stewards will question M Chadwick (SPLENDID CHAMPION) regarding his reasons for remaining racing one off the fence outside ARION OF CHIU TON in the middle stages rather than crossing to the fence.
