Racing Incident Report

As the start was effected, VICTORY MASCOT became fractious and consequently began only fairly.
From the outside barrier, SHIFACHI TRADITION was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
HOLLYWOOD KISS took some time in the early stages to muster speed despite being vigorously ridden along.
For some distance after the 1800 Metres, KHARU proved difficult to settle when awkwardly placed inside the heels of BUDDY WATSON.
After the 1800 Metres, HOLLYWOOD KISS was left racing wide and without cover and shortly after this was allowed to improve its position to shift in and race outside the leader near the 1300 Metres.
Near the 1100 Metres, KHARU and KINGSTON SPARTACUS bumped.
Passing the 900 Metres, VICTORY MASCOT and YOUNG HERO raced tight as VICTORY MASCOT attempted to shift out away from the rail.
Passing the 400 Metres, SHIFACHI TRADITION was checked when disappointed for running between ALL BOUNTIFUL which shifted out and VICTORY MASCOT which shifted in away from the heels of SUPER STRIKE.
Passing the 200 Metres, TRES MAGNIFIQUE was bumped by VICTORY MASCOT (Z Purton) which shifted in away from the heels of HOLLYWOOD KISS to obtain clear running. SHIFACHI TRADITION, which was following, was steadied away from the heels of TRES MAGNIFIQUE in consequence. Z Purton was advised to exercise more care.
The performance of BUDDY WATSON, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, BUDDY WATSON will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on ALL BOUNTIFUL at the request of Trainer J Size. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, ALL BOUNTIFUL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
VICTORY MASCOT, ALL BOUNTIFUL and SUPER STRIKE were sent for sampling.
