Racing Incident Report
CAPE CANAVERAL was withdrawn on 8.3.14 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, CAPE CANAVERAL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
WINDICATOR STAR began awkwardly.
DIVINE TEN made contact with the hindquarters of CHARITY SPIRIT on jumping, then shifted in and bumped ROMAN SOLDIER, causing both horses to become unbalanced.
VITAL FLYER lost its right hind plate at the 800 Metres.
Over the final 600 Metres, VITAL FLYER hung out and proved difficult to ride.
A veterinary inspection of ENSEMBLE and BEAR HERO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
DIVINE TEN and SHAHJEE were sent for sampling.
