Racing Incident Report

MR DARTHVEGAR, which was fractious and reared on a number of occasions after being placed in the barriers, will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test before being allowed to race again.
MR MAGELLAN was slow to begin and then shifted out towards the heels of BINGO.
BINGO shifted out at the start and inconvenienced GRACIOUS RYDER and KING MORTAR which began awkwardly.
DIONYSUS COLLIN began only fairly and then was crowded for room on jumping between TRIUMPHANT LORD and HK TOURBILLON which shifted in abruptly.
From wide barriers, HK TOURBILLON and MR DARTHVEGAR were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the 1000 Metres, GRACIOUS RYDER momentarily raced tight inside TRIUMPHANT LORD which shifted in before being directed out abruptly to relieve the tightening to GRACIOUS RYDER. After this, TRIUMPHANT LORD raced wide and without cover.
Also passing the 1000 Metres, HK TOURBILLON was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MR DARTHVEGAR.
Near the 100 Metres, KING MORTAR was shifted in away from the heels of BURST AWAY which was giving ground.
After the race, it was reported that MR DARTHVEGAR had sustained a small abrasion to the left forearm.
TRIUMPHANT LORD lost its left front plate after the race.
A veterinary inspection of BURST AWAY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MR DARTHVEGAR, HARD PROMISE and BINGO were sent for sampling.
<2/1/2019 Additional Veterinary Report>BURST AWAY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. BURST AWAY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D E Ferraris this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left hind leg with a swollen cannon. Before being allowed to race again, BURST AWAY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
