Racing Incident Report

MASTER ROMAN began awkwardly and then lost ground when steadied away from the heels of LUCKY GUY which shifted out.
WHAT A LEGEND began awkwardly and then shortly after the start was shifted across behind runners.
A short distance after the start, WHAT A LEGEND was crowded for room between TELECOM ROCKET and TOP SCORE which was taken out by BLASTOISE which shifted out after being bumped by BREAK RECORD.
In the early stages, TELECOM ROCKET got its head up when being steadied to obtain cover.
Despite being ridden along for some distance in the early stages, BINGO was slow to muster speed and consequently travelled wide and without cover until passing the 600 Metres before tiring in the Straight.
GINTOKI made the turn after the 900 Metres awkwardly, got its head up and shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of CALIFORNIA GUNGHO.
LUCKY GUY had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Approaching the 350 Metres, BINGO shifted in and brushed NICE FANDANGO.
Approaching the 300 Metres, TELECOM ROCKET raced tight between TOP SCORE and BLASTOISE which attempted to improve between TELECOM ROCKET and E STAR.
Passing the 150 Metres, GINTOKI raced tight inside LUCKY GUY which shifted in.
Also passing the 150 Metres, TELECOM ROCKET was shifted to the outside of TOP SCORE when unable to continue improving inside that horse.
After the 100 Metres, BREAK RECORD shifted out towards the heels of GINTOKI, resulting in its rider having to stop riding and straighten BREAK RECORD.
A veterinary inspection of BINGO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of NICE FANDANGO immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea.
FALCON TURBO, CALIFORNIA GUNGHO and LUCKY GUY were sent for sampling.
