Racing Incident Report

MELBOURNE HALL shifted out at the start and bumped AHEAD A HEAD.
When being steadied shortly after the start to obtain cover, THE JOLLY was crowded for room between SAVVY DELIGHT which was taken out by INFINITY WIN and WINNING GLORY which was taken in by HAPPY PROFIT. In this incident, WINNING GLORY lost ground after becoming unbalanced.
When being steadied to obtain cover from a wide barrier, TURBO POWER shifted out at the start and hampered HERO STAR.
From the outside barrier, HARRIER JET was steadied to obtain cover in the early stages.
After the 1100 Metres, MELBOURNE HALL (M F Poon) became unbalanced when bumped by AHEAD A HEAD which got its head on the side and shifted in away from INFINITY WIN. AHEAD A HEAD then raced tight between INFINITY WIN and MELBOURNE HALL approaching the 1000 Metres. After the race, M F Poon reported that after being bumped by AHEAD A HEAD, MELBOURNE HALL commenced to over-race and would not relax. He said this resulted in MELBOURNE HALL being awkwardly placed behind INFINITY WIN after the 900 Metres and then not being able to finish off the race strongly in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of MELBOURNE HALL immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
After being ridden along in the early stages from a wide barrier to obtain a forward position, HANDSOME REBEL was steadied approaching the 1000 Metres when racing very wide. When being steadied, HANDSOME REBEL commenced to travel keenly.
HERO STAR travelled wide and without cover until after the 700 Metres and then gave ground in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of HERO STAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HAPPY PROFIT was left racing wide and without cover after the 700 Metres.
THE JOLLY got its head on the side and lay out making the turn after the 600 Metres, resulting in TURBO POWER being taken out and racing in restricted room inside HANDSOME REBEL.
Passing the 300 Metres, TURBO POWER raced tight between HAPPY PROFIT and HANDSOME REBEL when improving between those horses.
Passing the 100 Metres, SAVVY DELIGHT shifted out under pressure, resulting in its rider having to stop riding and correct his mount.
H N Wong (WINNING GLORY) was spoken to regarding using the whip on a horse out of contention.
A veterinary inspection of HAPPY PROFIT and WINNING GLORY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LUCKY ARCHANGEL and SAVVY DELIGHT were sent for sampling.
