Racing Incident Report
JUBILATION and CHARMING STEED bumped at the start. CHARMING STEED then got its head on the side and shifted in, resulting in JUBILATION being taken in onto QUORUM which was bumped and became unbalanced.
MEGA BONUS was crowded for room on jumping between REGENCY STAR and MAN UP, both of which shifted ground. After this, from wide barriers, MEGA BONUS and MAN UP were steadied to obtain cover.
HARRIER JET was also steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
When being steadied after the 1100 Metres, REWARDING TOGETHER got its head up and travelled keenly.
Near the 1000 Metres, REGENCY STAR shifted in and bumped REWARDING TOGETHER.
Near the 900 Metres, KABI SMART was shifted out away from the heels of CHARMING STEED and raced tight inside the heels of REWARDING TOGETHER which continued to travel keenly.
When being steadied to obtain cover approaching and passing the 900 Metres, EUROMISSILE got its head up on a number of occasions and travelled keenly.
Approaching the 800 Metres, SIGHT HERO, which was travelling strongly, shifted out away from the heels of KABI SMART.
Passing the 550 Metres, EUROMISSILE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SIGHT HERO.
At the entrance to the Straight, BABY was bumped by SIGHT HERO which shifted out away from the heels of KABI SMART to obtain clear running.
Also at the entrance to the Straight, CHARMING STEED was shifted out away from the heels of REGENCY STAR in an endeavour to improve into tight running between that horse and REWARDING TOGETHER. CHARMING STEED was then awkwardly placed behind REGENCY STAR when disappointed for running between those horses as a result of REWARDING TOGETHER shifting in. CHARMING STEED then had some difficulty obtaining clear running before being directed to the outside of REWARDING TOGETHER approaching the 200 Metres.
MAN UP had some difficulty obtaining clear running approaching and passing the 200 Metres.
Throughout the race, BABY travelled wide and without cover.
SIGHT HERO, REWARDING TOGETHER and CHARMING STEED were sent for sampling.
