| 1 | 8 | VICTORY MOMENTS (H142) | When questioned regarding his mount racing in a more forward position today, M Chadwick stated that VICTORY MOMENTS, which was having its first race start on the All Weather surface, had performed well in barrier trials when ridden in a forward position. He said as a result and due to the horse being a "roarer”, he was asked to allow VICTORY MOMENTS to take up a forward position but only where it was comfortable to ensure that it relaxed during the event. He added that whilst VICTORY MOMENTS was caught wide and without cover for the majority of the event, it travelled comfortably in that position and as a result was able to go on to win the event. Sent for sampling post-race. |
