Racing Incident Report

1 5 SUN OF MAKFI (D157) Blundered shortly after the start. Near the 450 Metres was crowded by CHIRON. Held up for a short distance approaching the 300 Metres behind BAEBAE TSOI. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 2 M M NEBULA (G279) Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 7 CHARMING STEED (E494) Sent for sampling post-race.
4 9 CHIRON (E151) Jumped only fairly. Near the 700 Metres lay out and was awkwardly placed on the heels of ASIAN ONE. Near the 450 Metres was checked to avoid MILLENNIUM FALCON when that runner commenced to give ground and was shifted to the inside of MILLENNIUM FALCON to continue to improve. From the 350 Metres until the 250 Metres was held up for clear running behind GET THE MONIES and then near the 250 Metres was crowded when it improved into a narrow run between ASIAN ONE and GET THE MONIES which shifted out.
5 11 GREEN LASER (E409) No report.
6 4 DRAGON DELIGHT (G395) Bumped at the start.
7 8 GET THE MONIES (G168) Blundered badly on jumping and became unbalanced. After the race, K Teetan reported that when placed under pressure in the Home Straight his mount did not respond to his riding and raced in a disappointing manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 1 ASIAN ONE (E400) Bumped at the start. Near the 250 Metres was bumped by CHIRON when crowded for room between CHIRON and M M NEBULA which shifted in slightly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, ASIAN ONE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
9 6 BAEBAE TSOI (E116) Jumped awkwardly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, BAEBAE TSOI will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
10 3 RED MAVERICK (J067) After the race, B Thompson advised that from the outside barrier he was instructed to ride his mount conservatively in the early stages and as a result he shifted RED MAVERICK across behind runners in the early stages to comply with his instructions. Trainer Y S Tsui confirmed the instructions issued. The performance of RED MAVERICK, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, RED MAVERICK will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
11 10 MILLENNIUM FALCON (D281) After the race, H Bentley reported that his mount hung out throughout the event and changed stride on a number of occasions before weakening in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of MILLENNIUM FALCON, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MILLENNIUM FALCON will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
