5 12 WINNING REWARD (CE254) C Brown P-/B1 2-wide midfield early. Dropped further back after being crowded at 1100 M. Hug the rails rounding the turn but was held in traffic early part of the straight. Made a late dash final 200 M.

12 13 SABRE AND GOLD (CE179) Y T Cheng -- Led briefly at the start before taking a sit behind the leader. Remained a length off the lead on the rails until home straight. Unable to quicken and faded inside final 200 M.
13 2 DON RICARDO (CE262) G Schofield -- Outpaced from widest draw and raced wide without cover at midfield. Reached within a length of the leader 800 M and was 4-wide making home turn. Found no extra in the straight.
