9 6 SHOGUN (CB446) D Whyte B Settled 3-wide at midfield. Lacked a response when placed under pressure in the straight and weakened closing stages.
10 11 SPEEDING MOLLY (CC227) M W Leung SR/TT Off slowly and trailed field until the turn. Ridden along making home turn but remained towards the rear on straightening. Made no impression in the straight.
11 12 MY LUCK (CE256) K S Yu -- Jumped well but gradually dropped to rear section. Niggled along to keep pace rounding the turn and trailed field into home straight. Only ran past a beaten runner.
12 9 DRAGON AND GOLD (CD244) C W Wong -- Wide and without cover in a forward position. Commenced to lose ground making the turn at 600 M and then weakened in the straight.
