7 ADAIKALI (CE181) C Soumillon CP Fastest into stride, crossed them easily from wide alley, relaxed well and handed up running, raced behind leader from 1000 M having run of race, shot to lead turning for home. Tired late but held on well. (Dropped whip.)
8 NOBLE MAN (CC099) Y T Cheng -- Slow to begin, settled in rearward positon 2 wide 8 to 9Ls away, travelled comfortably throughout, made strong run between horses in straight and closed strongly from impossible spot. (Lame after race.)
4 REGENCY HORSE (CE229) F Coetzee B/TT Broke with them, hard ridden early to take up spot outside leader 1L away, always chasing in middle section, lost touch a little entering straight but stuck to task well to hold 3rd.
6 SHADOW KNIGHT (CE154) E Saint-Martin B Jumped with field, allowed to relax just worse then midfield, raced 4 back on rails 6 to 7Ls away, still 5Ls away turning for home, made good ground late between runners.
1 EVERY TIME (CD314) A Delpech SR Fair to begin, taken back to last to settle 10Ls from pace, lobbed along 2 wide at tail using nothing in run, swung 4 wide turning for home and made up some late ground down outside in straight.
2 OUR JET (CD128) S Dye B/TT1 Jumped well, used up in early stages to cross to lead, kept rolling 1L clear at a reasonable pace, 1L clear turning for home, quickly collared and weakened out of it. Worked too hard early.
5 ENGINEERING WONDER (CB300) H W Lai -- Broke with field, settled just off midfield 6 to 7Ls away 2 wide, enjoyed good run throughout, swung 4 to 5 wide on turn, came with run widest in straight but couldn't make up required ground.
3 ALINSKY (CE046) D Whyte B Began only fairly, drove through to hold spot 3 back on fence, raced 4Ls away throughout, used nothing to turn, followed paint in straight but lacked another gear to get closer.
10 KINGIFLY (CG020) R Fradd -- Average to begin, ridden up to get closer early, settled midfield 5Ls off pace 2 wide, relaxed well, tracked 3 wide into race on turn, only battled away in home stretch. (See Racing Incidents.)
11 FLYING SPRINTER (CD021) H K Yim B Fast to break, taken hold of to race with cover just behind speed, 2 wide 4Ls away throughout, hard ridden making 3 wide run entering straight, raced one-paced in straight and weakened out of it.
9 GOLDEN CARE (CD188) C Munce B/TT Broke with field, showed no early speed and drifted back to 2nd last, raced on rail 9 to 10Ls away throughout, gave large start into straight and made no impression to line.
12 CONESTOGA (CE313) G Schofield -- Awkward to begin, ridden up to obtain close spot, trapped wide from awkward alley, raced 3 wide without cover throughout, always working 4 to 5 wide into straight, workload took toll and dropped out.
