11 SUNNY RIVIERA (CC240) M Nunes B/TT Quietly ridden in rear on fence about 7Ls last at 1200 M, 4 wide turning for home about 5Ls last, quickened up well down centre of track to lead with 50 M to go, kept on well.
12 FOREVER RICHES (CG174) E Saint-Martin B Awkward break, 2-wide and 3Ls back in 6th from halfway to final bend, 1L down in 3rd at 200 M and ever closer 100 M out, failed to match the winner's late rush, however.
6 PACIFIC ALLIANCE (CC230) C Soumillon B/H/TT 4-back on fence towards rear about 5Ls from the speed at 1000 M, a little closer on straightening and 2Ls down in midfield at the 200 M, kept on finding enough to place.
14 NAMJONG GOODLUCK (CE267) B Prebble BO Led on fence with 1500 M to race, briefly headed about 800 M out but a neck to the good on straightening, kicked for home but headed again inside 200 M and one-paced close home.
7 FANTASTIC GUY (CH025) F Coetzee -- Unlucky not to at least place, settled 3-wide with cover in rear group about 5Ls from the front at the 1000 M, not much closer on straightening when checked, short of room until 250 M out, finished well, never nearer.
8 PRIMIATA (CG226) Y T Cheng B/TT Nice position on fence in 4th about 2Ls off speed at halfway, still well there turning for home and loomed a winning chance on inside at 200 M, no extra in closing stages.
9 SPRING SMILES (CG269) D Nikolic -- Mostly midfield 3-back on fence about 4Ls from the front until the 600 M, driven along to pick up entering straight, stayed on only fairly and no excuses, lacked the dash of those in front.
13 DURABLE (CE190) D Whyte -- Well positioned 2-wide and 1L off pace in 3rd at 1400 M, still right there turning for home, given every chance but lacked the acceleration when required.
10 SUDDEN SPLENDOR (CE251) K L Chui B/XB/TT Raced 3 and 4 wide throughout but mostly with cover, about 5Ls back in 10th or so at halfway, all out when 3Ls down in midfield at the 200 M, weakened late.
1 DOUBLE PLEASURE (CD069) O Doleuze -- Bumped at start and failed to muster speed, worse than midfield when 2-wide and 5Ls off speed at 1000 M, marginally closer taking home turn but always held.
3 SOLAR POWER (CE047) K T Yeung TT Caught wide without cover early on so pressed on to lead briefly at the 800 M, a neck down in 2nd turning for home and all out when 1L back in 3rd at 200 M, faded thereafter.
5 CHINSOLA (CD328) G Mosse B Didn't have much luck in the homestretch when short of room at final bend and again disappointed for a gap 200 M out, had settled in midfield with cover at halfway, eased once chance had gone at the 200 M.
4 SPACED (CG034) C W Wong TT Midfield early but left 3-wide no cover at halfway when 3Ls off the speed, 4Ls back in midfield when 3-wide taking final bend, very one-paced and eased down final 100 M.
