11 POCKET MONEY (CE253) F Coetzee B Away in line, ended up in midfield 3 wide without cover, did share of work in mid-section, crept closer on circle to be 5Ls down turning, finished hard last 250 M to grab lead inside 100 M and score a solid win.
2 DOWN TOWN (CG054) C W Wong TT First to hit ground, crossed them to take usual role in front, rolled along at a solid tempo, held a length break on turning, accelerated nicely to keep rivals chasing, run down last 100 M.
1 FLORAL PEGASUS (CG011) K L Chui TT Reasonable break, took a spot 3 to 4Ls back on rails, had an ideal trip and suited by pace, angled 2 wide approaching bend, hit clear at 400 M and gradually closed for a placing.
7 RIVER JORDAN (CG194) D Beadman TT Out well, elected for a midfield trail, raced 5 to 6Ls back in running line, had suitable run with pace on at top end, followed eventual winner making run turning, made steady progress in straight to make frame.
5 SUNNY POWER (CG203) C Soumillon -- Began nicely, drove through to hold position on leaders back, didn't have an easy time pursuing a solid tempo, 1L down on turning, took inside runs to be 2nd at 150 M but run ended late.
9 DANACOURT (CE228) D Whyte H Move prominent after better beginning, ended up l out 1 back 2Ls away, trailed a solid pace throughout, made challenge on turning, still in mix at 200 M but couldn't lift last bit.
3 JOYFUL WINNER (CE045) G Mosse TT Restrained from outset, ended up 9 or more lengths back, helped by fast tempo, still well down leaving bend, weaved between horses and made up huge amount of ground from an impossible spot.
6 VIVA MACAU (CH110) Z Purton CP/TT Out with first few, held a spot 4Ls back in 2 wide line, no excuses on run, came 3 wide on bend, struggled to pick up in straight and just held ground over concluding stages.
10 FLAMING LAMBORGINI (CE146) E Saint-Martin TT Began in line, drifted back from a wide alley to race 3 wide in rear division, had cover 8Ls off lead, moved closer on circle, switched wide on turning and made even progress without looking likely.
13 MY CHOICE (CC283) C K Tong -- Taken back from an awkward alley, raced 7 to 8Ls back in running line, aided by tempo, still well back with job to do turning, made a little late progress passing beaten runners in straight.
8 ROYAL PRINCE (CH072) B Prebble TT Didn't have early pace, ended up 6Ls back on rails, had an ideal trip with pace on at top end, saved ground on bend, lacked another gear in straight and just battled to line.
4 ABLE ONE (CG108) S Dye -- Restrained to race in rear, raced back with last few 8Ls off lead, kept to fence and saved ground on bend, suited by tempo and should have had something to offer at business end but was instead very one paced.
14 HELENE PILLAGING (CC084) M Nunes TT Jumped soundly, assumed spot outside leader, forced to work with solid sectionals, 1L down rounding bend, soon under pressure and faded out tamely in run to line.
12 AMBITIOUS GENERAL (CJ066) W M Lai CP No real early pace, restrained from a wide gate, raced 3 wide at rear 9 or more lengths from lead, helped by tempo but raced awkwardly to bend, found little when asked and failed to pass a runner in straight.
