5 6 MING HOI TREASURE (CK145) D Beadman TT Fair jump, took a midfield spot 4 to 5Ls back in running line, raced keenly with slow trip to bend, eased out at 400 M, kept coming in straight to be nearest on line.
6 9 SPECIAL K (CK114) B Prebble -- Taken back from a wide gate, shared rear 8Ls of slow tempo, chances harmed with slow pace in mid-section, still well back turning, made remarkable ground from tail to be closest at finish.
7 12 HORSE WIN WIN (CJ078) W C Marwing -- Slow out, recovered to hold a midfield spot 4 to 5Ls away on rails, used nothing on bend, kept to inside in straight but effort was one paced jut holding ground in run to line.
8 13 FIRST BEAT (CK127) J Victoire TT Showed good early pace to race alongside leader, advantaged by slow tempo in middle stages, still 1L back turning, hung in final 300 M but unable to keep on last 200 M and weakened out. (Bled.)
9 8 LASKER (CJ340) J Winks XB Restrained from an awkward alley, raced 6Ls away on rails, not helped by slow speed on, saved ground on bend, made some minor progress late along rails.
10 10 ENCHANTED (CE065) C Soumillon B- Allowed to drift back into position behind midfield, raced 3 wide 6Ls off steady speed, not helped by way race was run to bend, lacked needed response in straight.
11 3 EURO SWIFTLY (CK091) Y T Cheng SR/TT Faded back from an outside draw, raced 3 wide at rear 7Ls back, had cover but disadvantaged by pace, angled wide turning but lacked a finish in straight.
12 1 UPSIDE OF ANGER (CH317) Z Purton XB Out in line, ended up behind midfield, 7Ls back 2 wide, not helped by slow pace on, still rearward on turning, didn't make much progress in run to line.
