5 12 BLESS US ALL (CK086) M W Leung B/XB Began poorly with its head up, then was crowded shortly after the jump, settling back in the field. Closed off soundly.
6 3 FANTASTISCH (CK017) D Whyte -- Settled just behind the speed on the outside rail. Copped a check near the 300 M, recovered satisfactorily to maintain a gallop right to the wire.
7 4 FLEETING QUALITY (CJ347) H W Lai -- Showed good early speed to travel with the front runners however proved difficult to settle early and faded after the 300 M.
8 5 HIGH NOTE (CK081) K T Yeung B1/TT1 Camped on the back of the speed. Had every chance.
9 1 DUEL EXPRESS (CJ299) Z Purton B- On jumping blundered and became badly unbalanced settling behind midfield. Never really likely.
10 2 EAST RIDER (CK283) D Dunn -- Travelled at the rear of the field. Raced towards the middle of the course but failed to close off.
11 8 SPEED RACER (CK207) Y T Cheng CP1 Began well then settled midfield along the outside fence, couldn't maintain the pace and struggled over the concluding stages.
12 11 XAVERIAN QUEST (CJ345) M Du Plessis TT1 Raced handy to the leaders towards the outer rail, commenced to tire quickly inside the furlong finishing well back.
