4 10 SUPREME FRESH (S076) M Chadwick CP2 Began well, pressed forward to hold position one-back, one-off to straight. Looked chance 300m but run down final stages.
5 5 TURBO JEWELLERY (N379) N Rawiller B/TT Ridden along three and four wide behind leading pack to first turn. Kept on steadily in straight under hard riding but unable close gap.
6 11 AMBASSADORSHIP (N217) K C Ng B Began well, quickly on rail 3-back from leader. Switched out 400m to make run but only one-paced under hard riding.
7 2 WILLIE INVICTUS (S255) K C Leung B Restrained early, dropping to behind midfield in a one-off position. Bumped when shifted out 500m to make run but only one-paced.
8 13 AXIOM (P095) M L Yeung B Hard ridden early but unable get cover, racing three-back and three-wide mostly. Very wide into straight and one-paced final 300m.
9 12 ARCHIPPUS (P361) H W Lai H Steadied soon after start and shifted in behind horses from wide draw, settling at rear. Taken out turning for home and ran past tired horses.
10 4 TRAVEL SUPER (S310) O Doleuze SR/TT Ridden along three and four wide towards the rear but failed to muster. Bumped passing 500m and one-paced in straight. (Lame right front, poor action in both hind legs)
11 14 IMPERIAL CONCORDE (P425) K Teetan TT Quickly on rail, holding position four-back from leader. Stayed on rail turning for home but only one-paced in straight.
12 6 BEST SHOW (N438) U Rispoli TT Began OK but soon outpaced dropping to last. Never competitive.
13 1 FRANCE VALOUR (S408) Z Purton -- Pressed forward to lead, setting muddling pace. Collared just before straightening for home and faded quickly.
14 3 SELKIRK STAR (S194) W M Lai H Restrained and taken in from wide draw but held 3-wide at rear. Bumped and unbalanced 500m put under pressure 400m but no response. (Continuous epiglottic entrapment)
