4 11 LOVE SHOCK (V287) J Moreira -- Positively ridden from draw 12 but unable to cross the rivals on its inside, vied for lead 3-wide throughout, led 400M-100M, no extra final stages. (Jockey severely reprimanded for his handling.)
5 3 CALL ME AWESOME (V340) O Bosson -- Behind midfield settled down 7-8Ls behind runaway leaders, inclined to lay out home turn, closed off steadily final 400M, encouraging debut.
