Racing Incident Report

Before being presented in the Parade Ring, STOIC had an adjustment made to its off side hind plate. CHARMING STRIDE missed the start, then shifted in and was awkward on the heels of TELECOM PRINCE. When the gates opened, STRIKERS threw its head about. From the outside gate, KOH-I-NOOR was obliged to travel very wide in the early and middle stages and raced without cover until about the 800 Metres. Near the 800 Metres, MUNDAHISH became unbalanced when awkward on the heels of JEWEL BOX. Just after this, MUNDAHISH shifted out, causing some inconvenience to STRIKERS. Near the 200 Metres, STOIC shifted out rather abruptly to find running and go forward. After the race, J Egan (MUNDAHISH) said on the Home Turn the horse made an abnormal breathing noise. SUPER PERFORMANCE was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
