Racing Incident Report

CONCERT STAR jumped awkwardly. KOH-I-NOOR missed the start, then in the early and middle stages was obliged to race wide and without cover. Just after the start, CUPID was steadied, shifted across the heels of the runners to a position near the rail. On the latter part of the Home Turn, TOP LIGHT was awkward on the heels of CONCERT STAR. On straightening, TOP LIGHT was shifted out to find running and go forward, then after the 200 Metres was again changed course to avoid KOH-I-NOOR. In the run to the line, SUN DANCER got its head on the side, hung in and proved difficult to ride out. The Judge initially semaphored No. 7, SILENT PARTNER being the 4th placegetter, however before weighed-in was declared, he altered his decision to No. 6, MANY HAPPY RETURNS 4th and No. 7, SILENT PARTNER 5th. SILENT PARTNER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
