Racing Incident Report

Before being presented in the Parade Ring, TURBOJET had a nail in its near side front plate replaced. At that time the horse was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed suitable to run. TURBOJET was again trotted up at the Start, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed suitable to race. DRAGON POWER jumped very awkwardly and threw its head about. On jumping, MALAYAN PEARL stumbled, shifted in and caused inconvenience to EASTERN EXPRESS. FRAME'S PEOPLE missed the start slightly. In the middle stages, DON SEBASTIAN was inclined to pull when awkwardly placed between KIMBO BELL and FRAME'S PEOPLE. Also in the middle stages, REBEL LEADER hung out, as a consequence of this STRONG SCOTCH was able to shift originally from behind MALAYAN PEARL to be behind DANEFACTOR, and rounding the Home Turn REBEL LEADER hung out badly and STRONG SCOTCH shifted to the outside of DANEFACTOR. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, DANEFACTOR hung out. About the 400 Metres, TURBOJET was checked and shifted in when disappointed for running between BELLAGIO and TAMBORA STAR, both of which were giving ground. DANEFACTOR was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
