Racing Incident Report
MILLENNIUM DAWN left the gates very awkwardly, then shifted out abruptly. LUCKY MEANINGS jumped awkwardly, then for the first few strides raced ungenerously with its head in the air, then in the middle stages proved difficult to settle and several times became unbalanced on the heels of PROLIFIC WINNER. Making the first turn, TRY YOUR BEST and PROLIFIC WINNER raced tight inside ME AND YOU which had a tendency to shift in away from INCA ROSE. In the middle stages, CHARITY FIRST and MILLENNIUM DAWN raced tight. About 50 Metres out, Apprentice K C Tsang (CHARITY FIRST) dropped his whip. From a difficult gate, INCA ROSE was obliged to race wide throughout and was not able to obtain any cover. Apprentice C H Tse (MANLEY'S FORTUNE) said in the early part of the Straight, the saddle shifted back slightly. Although the horse was giving ground, this placed him at a disadvantage. MILLENNIUM DAWN was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
