Racing Incident Report

FRAME'S PEOPLE was withdrawn on 25.1.02 on veterinary grounds (sore off fore tendon) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter HIGH SPIRITS. Before racing again, FRAME'S PEOPLE will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. DON SEBASTIAN left the gates very awkwardly. When the gates opened, GREENMORE stood flat-footed and lost a lot of ground. Mr S T Wong, trainer of GREENMORE, was told should the horse perform similarly again, action will be taken against it. On jumping, INDUBITABLY BLISS threw its head about and became badly unbalanced. In the early and middle stages, RIGHT HONORABLE pulled hard and proved difficult to settle, then at about the 800 Metres was unbalanced when awkwardly placed close to the heels of EVER GLORY. Near the 400 Metres, MAGICAL WARRIOR shifted in abruptly to find running. About the 300 Metres, INDUBITABLY BLISS shifted out a long way to find uninterrupted running. D Whyte (DON SEBASTIAN) said in his opinion the horse seemed to be reluctant to stretch out during the race. Before racing again, DON SEBASTIAN will be required to pass an official veterinary examination.
