Racing Incident Report

NATURALLY KING left the gates awkwardly and threw its head about. ACTIVE ACCOUNT was slowly away. MUNDAHISH, which had its head turned slightly to the near side, came from the gates awkwardly and got back. Then for some distance near the 300 Metres, MUNDAHISH was awkward on the heels of ACTIVE ACCOUNT, shortly after this was steadied and shifted in to find running. G Mossé (HIN YUEN'S UNICORN) explained he had been asked to ride the horse in a forward position. He said HIN YUEN'S UNICORN although standing straight was leaning somewhat towards the near side. He said he appealed to the Starter for more time, however, when the gates opened, HIN YUEN'S UNICORN jumped awkwardly and bounded in the air, because of this got well back. On straightening, HIN YUEN'S UNICORN was steadied, endeavoured to find running, was unable to do so and was held up. Approaching the 200 Metres, HIN YUEN'S UNICORN was shifted in to find running and go forward. Near the 1200 Metres, DANRIVA, which was settling into a position behind the leader, was checked when crowded by LUCKY MASTER (H K Yim) which shifted in when not clear. H K Yim was reprimanded and told he must exercise more care when shifting ground. In the early stages, CITI CENTRE, from an outside gate, was obliged to race very wide and without any cover. In the middle stages, BRUIN SUPREME got its head up and hung out.
