Racing Incident Report

UNBELIEVABLE and CHOICE AND CHANCE were slow to begin. On jumping, ABLE EAGLE stumbled. When the gates opened, AMOUR bounded in the air. Shortly after the start, SPLIT SECONDS and SURE FORTUNE were crowded for room inside GIFTED RUNNER which on jumping shifted in. At the 1000 Metres, LUCKY MASTER was crowded for room between FOR YOUR EYES ONLY which shifted out and NORTHERN ROSE which was racing tight inside the hindquarters of BULLISH KID. In the circumstances, no action was taken. At the 900 Metres, CHOICE AND CHANCE became unbalanced when racing tight inside LUCKY MASTER and close to the heels of FOR YOUR EYES ONLY. At the 800 Metres, LUCKY MASTER was steadied when awkwardly placed tight inside the heels of NORTHERN ROSE which in turn was tight inside the heels of BULLISH KID. Also at the 800 Metres, SPLIT SECONDS got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of SURE FORTUNE which shifted in momentarily. At the 600 Metres, CHOICE AND CHANCE and NORTHERN ROSE raced tight inside ABLE EAGLE which was carried in slightly by GIFTED RUNNER which shifted in when barely clear. In the early part of the Straight, AMOUR was shifted to the outside of ABLE EAGLE to obtain clear running. AMOUR then commenced to hang out and this caused crowding on its outside to NORTHERN ROSE, LUCKY MASTER and GO GET THEM, all of which were carried wider. AMOUR then continued to hang out, proved difficult to ride and after the 200 Metres shifted ground, causing inconvenience to GO GET THEM. Near the winning post, SURE FORTUNE was brushed by SPLIT SECONDS. ABLE EAGLE, FOR YOUR EYES ONLY and GIFTED RUNNER were sent for sampling.
