Racing Incident Report

On jumping, ELETTARIN lost ground as a result of being bumped by SUN POWER which shifted in. GRASS HOPPER began awkwardly. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, DO IT WELL and CHOICE AND CHANCE were slow to begin. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, ELETTARIN got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of GRASS HOPPER. After the 600 Metres, GRASS HOPPER commenced to hang out. Also after the 600 Metres, ACE OF PACE, which had been racing wide and without cover, hung out. On straightening, DO IT WELL was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of ELETTARIN. In the early part of the Straight, ELETTARIN got its head on the side and was inclined to lay in. GRASS HOPPER, FANTASTICO and CHOICE AND CHANCE were sent for sampling. The Veterinary Officer reported that on pulling up following the race, DO IT WELL had shifted its left front plate and sustained a punctured wound to the sole of the foot.
