Racing Incident Report

KAISER'S CHOIX and HURRICANE WAY were slow to begin. From the outside barrier in the early stages, SERIOUS PLAY was taken back across behind runners. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, SUPER POWER was momentarily steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of TOUCH DOWN. For a considerable distance after the 1200 Metres, WINNING PATTERN proved difficult to settle after being crossed by SPEED OF LIGHT. Near the 1100 Metres, KING OF SHAVER got its head on the side, commenced to hang in and for some distance was unbalanced. Throughout the race, STEP FORWARD travelled wide and without cover and making the turn after the 600 Metres hung in. At the 150 Metres, SUPER POWER was steadied away from the heels of STEP FORWARD which was giving ground. DENDRANTHEMA LOVE and WINNING PATTERN were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of DENDRANTHEMA LOVE and WINNING PATTERN after the race did not show any significant findings. KING OF SHAVER and GEM MASTER were sent for sampling.
