Racing Incident Report

MAJESTIC HEART began awkwardly. On jumping, AMAZING VENTURE was taken back and CLASSIC REUNION and CLEMENT ELITE bumped. Also on jumping, JOLLY WONGCHOY was crowded for room, then despite being ridden along took time to muster speed and throughout the race travelled wide and without cover. SPEED AND GOLD began awkwardly, then trailed the field throughout and finished distanced. The performance of SPEED AND GOLD was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SPEED AND GOLD will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. In the early stages, TOUCH MORE was taken back. Also in the early stages, despite being ridden along, LE ROSSIGNOL failed to muster speed and near the 1200 Metres was taken back to a position with cover. After the 900 Metres, BREEZY WILL, which was travelling keenly, was shifted to the outside of SHINING DRAGON after being crossed by that runner. After this, BREEZY WILL hung out and making the Home Turn hung out badly, causing JOLLY WONGCHOY to be carried wider. Approaching the turn at the 800 Metres and again after the 600 Metres, CLEMENT ELITE raced tight inside CLASSIC REUNION. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, SHINING DRAGON hung out. MAJESTIC HEART, CLEMENT ELITE and SPEEDY STAR were sent for sampling.
