Racing Incident Report

DANE PATROL was withdrawn on 11.1.13 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore fetlock). Before being allowed to race again, DANE PATROL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
As the start was effected, BIG FOUR lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently was slow to begin.
WINDICATOR STAR began awkwardly.
SEASONS STAR knuckled over on jumping.
Shortly after the start, SEASONS STAR got its head on the side and shifted out, resulting in SIR EAGLES being crowded for room inside STREET CAT.
At the 800 Metres, SEASONS STAR again got its head on the side when awkwardly placed close to the heels of WINDICATOR STAR and shifted out abruptly, resulting in SIR EAGLES becoming unbalanced and being taken out, causing STREET CAT to be steadied away from the heels of that horse.
Near the 650 Metres, BIG FOUR was momentarily awkwardly placed close to the heels of EASTERN PROMISE.
Approaching the 300 Metres, GERONIMO MEADOW was hampered when crowded for room inside EASTERN PROMISE which got its head on the side and hung in. After this, EASTERN PROMISE continued to hang in and near the 200 Metres made contact with the hindquarters of BRILLIANT PROPOSAL on a number of occasions, causing that horse to become unbalanced. For the remainder of the race, EASTERN PROMISE continued to get its head on the side and lay in.
Near the 250 Metres, WINDICATOR STAR raced tight between XI YING MEN and HAWTHORNE.
Approaching the 100 Metres, SEASONS STAR was steadied when disappointed for running between DYNAMIC VOYAGE and SIR EAGLES which shifted in to improve.
After the race, it was noted that DYNAMIC VOYAGE had lost its left front plate.
A veterinary inspection of EASTERN PROMISE after the race did not show any significant findings.
WINDICATOR STAR and HAWTHORNE were sent for sampling.
