Racing Incident Report

CHATER LEGEND began only fairly and shortly after the start was hampered by LOTUS BREEZE which was taken out by INVENTOR.
WAH MAY BABY shifted in at the start and bumped RIGHT CALL.
From the outside barrier, INDUSTRIALIST WAY was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
After the 1300 Metres, FIVE UP HIGH was left racing wide and without cover and near the 1100 Metres was allowed to stride forward to race outside the lead after the 800 Metres.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, CHATER LEGEND raced tight inside ENORMOUS HONOUR.
INVENTOR lost its right front plate near the 850 Metres.
After the 800 Metres, IMPERIAL GALLANTRY was left racing wide and without cover.
After racing tight outside MARVEL HERO approaching and passing the 400 Metres, ENORMOUS HONOUR was steadied near the 350 Metres when disappointed for running between IMPERIAL GALLANTRY and MARVEL HERO which shifted out.
At the point of the Home Turn, CHATER LEGEND brushed the running rail when awkwardly placed close to the heels of INVENTOR.
When questioned regarding the performance of LITTLE ISLAND, C Williams stated that tonight’s race was run at a more genuine tempo than the race in which the horse was successful at its last start. He said because of this LITTLE ISLAND was not able to show the same turn of foot as it was at its last start off a slower tempo. A veterinary inspection of LITTLE ISLAND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of INVENTOR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
MARVEL HERO and LOTUS BREEZE were sent for sampling.
