Racing Incident Report

MY DEAR was withdrawn on 26.2.19 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter POWER RACER (C Y Ho). Before being allowed to race again, MY DEAR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
AFTER ME began only fairly.
Shortly after the start, ORIENTAL ELITE was crowded for room between GENERAL IRON which shifted in when being steadied to obtain cover and TOM’S DRAGON which shifted out marginally. Then near the 900 Metres, ORIENTAL ELITE was shifted away from the heels of GENERAL IRON.
POWER RACER was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
AFTER ME lost its left hind plate at the 850 Metres.
Approaching the 250 Metres, GENERAL IRON and BESTA LUCK raced tight as GENERAL IRON improved into tight running between that horse and TOM’S DRAGON.
After the 150 Metres, VERY SWEET ORANGE was shifted to the inside of MR RIGHT (Apprentice H T Mo) after racing tight outside that horse which shifted out passing the 200 Metres. Apprentice Mo was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he stops riding and straightens his mounts in similar circumstances.
After the 100 Metres, ORIENTAL ELITE was shifted to the outside of BESTA LUCK to continue improving.
MR RIGHT and TOM’S DRAGON were sent for sampling.
