Racing Incident Report

BEAUTY CHARISMA was withdrawn on 8.3.19 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (blood abnormality and fever). SEVEN HEAVENS was withdrawn on 9.3.19 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, BEAUTY CHARISMA and SEVEN HEAVENS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
EPTIMUM began only fairly and then made contact with GRANDMA WIN as a result of both horses shifting ground.
MULTIMILLION began only fairly.
As EPTIMUM was being ridden along in the early stages, T H So dropped his right rein near the 900 Metres.
After initially being shifted to the outside of GINTOKI near the 850 Metres, UTOPIA LIFE then shifted to the inside of that horse passing the 800 Metres.
Passing the 600 Metres, EAGLE and UTOPIA LIFE raced tight. UTOPIA LIFE then commenced to race greenly and shifted out towards the heels of GOKO near the 300 Metres. This resulted in UTOPIA LIFE becoming unbalanced and when struck with the whip shifted in after the 300 Metres and inconvenienced EAGLE. UTOPIA LIFE then shifted ground on a number of occasions over the latter stages of the race.
A veterinary inspection of MY BEGINNER’S LUCK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
After the race, it was reported that EAGLE had sustained a small cut to the inside of the right front fetlock.
MULTIMILLION and GOKO were sent for sampling.
