Racing Incident Report
When being transported to the track, DEMONS ROCK sustained a small laceration to the right hock. DEMONS ROCK was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
DALRADIAN shifted in at the start and bumped LOOK ERAS.
EXCEL DELIGHT began awkwardly, shifted in and brushed BIG FORTUNE. EXCEL DELIGHT was then bumped by BIG FORTUNE which was taken out by FLYING MONKEY a short distance after the start.
DEMONS ROCK began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped AQUILA.
After travelling a short distance, RED BRICK FIGHTER shifted out and made contact with the hindquarters of AURORA PEGASUS.
AURORA PEGASUS travelled keenly passing the 800 Metres.
Making the turn near the 550 Metres, RUN BEAUTY RUN became unbalanced after making contact with EXCEL DELIGHT which shifted in marginally.
Making the turn near the 500 Metres, AURORA PEGASUS got its head on the side and lay out.
Rounding the Home Turn, BIG FORTUNE was awkwardly placed behind FLYING MONKEY and then at the entrance to the Straight was shifted to the inside of that horse.
Throughout the race, EXCEL DELIGHT travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of RUN BEAUTY RUN, DEMONS ROCK and EXCEL DELIGHT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LOOK ERAS, AQUILA and BEST SMILE were sent for sampling.
<11/7/2019 Additional Veterinary Report>EXCEL DELIGHT, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. EXCEL DELIGHT was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Size this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, EXCEL DELIGHT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
