Racing Incident Report

KUNGFUMASTER PANDA began only fairly.
VIGOR FAME and TRUE GRIT bumped heavily at the start. VIGOR FAME then raced tight between TRUE GRIT and XIANG BAI QI which got its head on the side and shifted out after being brushed by RULETHEROOST. VIGOR FAME was then ridden along to obtain a forward position.
From wide barriers, TRUE GRIT and TANGMERE were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Despite being vigorously ridden along for a considerable distance in the early stages, TRAVEL FIRST failed to muster speed.
GIANT TURTLE took some time to muster speed in the early stages and consequently travelled wide and without cover throughout the race.
Near the 1600 Metres, TRAVEL FIRST raced tight inside RULETHEROOST which got its head on the side and lay in across the heels of TASHIDELEK.
After the race, K C Leung stated that after being able to obtain the lead in the early stages, SALTO OLIMPICO travelled well until VIGOR FAME improved its position to the outside of SALTO OLIMPICO after the 700 Metres. He said SALTO OLIMPICO immediately came under pressure and then was disappointing in the manner in which it failed to respond to his riding rounding the Home Turn and in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of SALTO OLIMPICO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of RULETHEROOST immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
TASHIDELEK, TRUE GRIT and XIANG BAI QI were sent for sampling.
<11/7/2019 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that TRAVEL FIRST had a very restricted action in both hind legs on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, TRAVEL FIRST will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
