Racing Incident Report
GUNNAR shifted in on jumping and bumped VIGOR CHAMP which became badly unbalanced and shifted in, causing PERFECT HARMONY to lose ground when crowded between VIGOR CHAMP and ARES which on jumping was brushed by GOLDEN MISSION which shifted out.
GRACYLOVE began only fairly and then was steadied away from the heels of BETTER CHOICE which, after initially being taken out by ALL WONGCHOY, shifted out away from that horse.
From the outside barrier, LET’S GO PARTY was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
Passing the 1000 Metres, VIGOR CHAMP got its head on the side and was awkwardly placed inside the heels of LET’S GO PARTY.
Passing the 900 Metres, THE SHOW momentarily raced tight inside COLONEL which got its head on the side and lay in.
Passing the 850 Metres, COLONEL was left racing wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of BETTER CHOICE and COLONEL immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ARES and THE SHOW were sent for sampling.
