Racing Incident Report

LA BOMBA and AURORA STEED bumped at the start. AURORA STEED then shifted out, resulting in SHOW MISSION losing ground when crowded for room inside TINKER BELLE which shifted in.
EVERBRAVE shifted out at the start and bumped HAPPY WINNER.
From the outside barriers, SPEEDY OPTIMIST and STRATHCLYDE were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After travelling a short distance, U W BROTHER and LA BOMBA made contact.
For some distance after the 800 Metres, TARGET FINDER proved very difficult to settle when being steadied to obtain cover. After shifting in to race behind TINKER BELLE, TARGET FINDER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse when continuing to travel keenly.
Rounding the Home Turn, SPEEDY OPTIMIST was held up for clear running behind AURORA STEED.
Near the 250 Metres, AURORA STEED raced in restricted room inside the heels of LA BOMBA which shifted in. AURORA STEED then continued to race tight inside LA BOMBA for some distance.
Throughout the race, CHUNGHWA JINGSHEN travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of AURORA STEED immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of LA BOMBA immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, LA BOMBA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
U W BROTHER and FLYING MONKEY were sent for sampling.
