Racing Incident Report

MOONLIGHT VISTA lost ground when crowded for room on jumping between EQUALETTA BLITZ which was bumped by EXCELLENT CHARIOT and YO BEAUTY which shifted out.
From wide barriers, SUNSET WATCH and KA YING EXCELLENT were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 1100 Metres, MOONLIGHT VISTA got its head up when being steadied to obtain cover behind SEIZING THE MOMENT.
Passing the 1000 Metres, FLAMING PASSION was awkwardly placed outside the heels of EQUALETTA BLITZ when being steadied to obtain cover behind that horse which itself was travelling keenly outside the lead.
At the 300 Metres, SEIZING THE MOMENT momentarily raced tight outside the hindquarters of FLAMING PASSION.
After the 300 Metres, MOONLIGHT VISTA was shifted out away from the heels of SUNSET WATCH which got its head on the side and lay out.
Passing the 100 Metres, YO BEAUTY was inconvenienced when racing in restricted room between FLAMING PASSION which shifted in away from SEIZING THE MOMENT and PARTY WARRIOR which shifted out.
Close to the finishing line, PARTY WARRIOR raced tight inside SEIZING THE MOMENT which shifted in under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of EXCELLENT CHARIOT immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, EXCELLENT CHARIOT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
SEIZING THE MOMENT and PARTY WARRIOR were sent for sampling.
<10/3/2022 Additional Veterinary Reports>After the race, EXCELLENT CHARIOT was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was lame in its right front leg. EXCELLENT CHARIOT was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P F Yiu today. He said at this time he noted the horse to have sustained a right front tendon injury.
