Racing Incident Report

FLYING MIGHTY was crowded for room on jumping between HYPERION TREE and CROWN AVENUE which shifted in.
MAKE IT TURBO began awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Also from wide barriers, EEVEE, WEALTHY EMPLOYEE and FLASH FAMOUS were steadied to obtain a position closer to the rail.
After travelling a short distance, TURF BRILLIANT was brushed by ORIENTAL AMIGO which was racing tight inside SKY GEM.
After passing the winning post on the first occasion, GO BALLISTIC shifted in and bumped ORIENTAL AMIGO.
After the 1800 Metres, GREAT TREASURE was momentarily steadied away from the heels of SKY GEM.
Passing the 1600 Metres, CROWN AVENUE was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 1200 Metres, EEVEE was awkwardly placed behind TURF BRILLIANT.
WEALTHY EMPLOYEE lost its left front plate approaching the 1000 Metres.
At the entrance to the Straight, GO BALLISTIC raced in restricted room between CROWN AVENUE and AMAZING BOY (Z Purton) which shifted out away from the heels of ORIENTAL AMIGO as that horse came under pressure. Z Purton was advised to exercise care when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
Approaching the 300 Metres, TURF BRILLIANT raced close to the heels of CROWN AVENUE when initially disappointed for running between that horse and SKY GEM which shifted in. TURF BRILLIANT then had some difficulty obtaining clear running passing the 250 Metres.
A veterinary inspection of EEVEE immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, EEVEE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of FLYING MIGHTY immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
A veterinary inspection of AMAZING BOY and FORTUNE PATROL immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
AMAZING BOY, TURF BRILLIANT and HYPERION TREE were sent for sampling.
<20/6/2022 Additional Veterinary Reports>EEVEE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was lame in its right front leg. EEVEE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D A Hayes this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be also lame in its left hind leg. As previously advised, EEVEE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
