1 3 TO INFINITY (G277) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 9 HAPPIHOOD (H261) Jumped only fairly. Raced wide and without cover throughout the early stages and was allowed to stride forward from the 800 Metres where it obtained a position outside the lead near the 550 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

7 4 MASTER OF LUCK (G276) Making the Home Turn was held up for clear running. Near the 250 Metres was shifted to the inside of RELIABLE PROFIT to obtain clear running. Near the 200 Metres became held up between RELIABLE PROFIT and HAPPY HUNK which shifted out and as a result MASTER OF LUCK was unable to obtain clear running until near the 100 Metres.
8 6 DRAGON DELIGHT (G395) After the race, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that after being crossed by EAGLE RUN approaching the 1000 Metres, DRAGON DELIGHT travelled only fairly thereafter. He added that, in his opinion, DRAGON DELIGHT may be better suited if it is able to race in the lead. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 8 HAPPY HUNK (H101) No report.
10 12 MISTER ARM (D491) Jumped awkwardly and then raced tight soon after the start.
11 10 EAGLE RUN (G415) No report.
12 7 BIG TWO (E310) Bumped at the start by TO INFINITY which shifted out. After the race, H Bowman reported that his mount travelled well during the running of the event. He said after shifting out to a three wide position near the 600 Metres, he started to improve into the event, but making the Home Turn was bumped by EAGLE RUN when that runner shifted out to improve. He added that once balanced in the Home Straight BIG TWO failed to respond to his riding and raced in a disappointing manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, BIG TWO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
