4 2 ERNEST FEELING (E209) After the 250 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running between KILINDINI and ALLOY KING.
5 5 KILINDINI (E236) Knuckled over shortly after the start. Near the 100 Metres Apprentice Y L Chung dropped his right rein as he pulled his whip through to his right hand and did not regather the rein until near the winning post. As this was the third occasion Apprentice Chung had dropped his rein, he was issued with a warning.
6 8 SUPER EAGLE (G408) No report.
7 12 TACTICAL COMMAND (H197) Jumped awkwardly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
8 3 WOOD ON FIRE (C460) Near the 150 Metres was contacted across its head by the whip of M L Yeung, the rider of ALLOY KING.
9 7 MULTIDARLING (H148) No report.
10 1 HOSS (H055) After the race, A Atzeni stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position but despite riding his mount along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to do so. He added in the Home Straight HOSS finished the race off in a one-paced manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 9 ALLOY KING (D287) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
12 6 RUNNING BOY (J041) Jumped only fairly and then shortly after the start was steadied away from SUPER EAGLE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Noted to have lost its right hind plate after the race.
