1 10 SHOW RESPECT (H138) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 12 ZOOM BOOM (G131) Jumped awkwardly. For a short distance approaching the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving between SHOW RESPECT and ESCAPE ROUTE. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 3 QUANTUM PATCH (H166) After the 400 Metres was held up for clear running behind ALL BEAUTY. Approaching the 250 Metres was briefly held up for clear running when improving into a tight run between ALL BEAUTY and TRUE GENIUS.
4 2 TOURBILLON PRINCE (H122) No report.
5 1 GALLANT WAKING (G165) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
6 7 STAR CONTACT (E472) Jumped awkwardly. After the 300 Metres was steadied when held up for clear running and being shifted to the outside of LUCKY EIGHT. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
7 11 ESCAPE ROUTE (E273) No report.
8 8 LUCKY EIGHT (G204) Bumped on the hindquarters shortly after the start. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
9 6 ROMANTIC LAOS (G476) No report.
10 9 ALL BEAUTY (E355) Jumped awkwardly, shifted in, made contact with the hindquarters of LUCKY EIGHT and became unbalanced. Near the 1500 Metres got its head up when crowded between STAR CONTACT which shifted out slightly and QUANTUM PATCH which was racing tight to the inside of ROMANTIC LAOS (K C Leung). K C Leung was advised to exercise more care. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, ALL BEAUTY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
11 4 TRUE GENIUS (J073) No report.
WV 5 NEVER TOO SOON (E434) Was a late withdrawal acting on veterinary advice after sustaining wounds to both hind legs whilst being transported to the course. Before being allowed to race again, NEVER TOO SOON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
