6 7 STRIVE FOR GLORY (D186) Shortly after the start blundered, resulting in both STRIVE FOR GLORY and L Ferraris becoming unbalanced. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. After the race, L Ferraris reported that he was requested to ensure that STRIVE FOR GLORY jumped well. He added that after STRIVE FOR GLORY commenced well, he allowed it to take up a more forward position. Trainer W Y So confirmed the instructions issued.
7 11 ACA POWER (E144) When caught wide and without cover in the early stages was restrained where it obtained cover near the 800 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 6 SERGEANT PEPPER (E432) Near the 700 Metres got its head up when momentarily crowded between STRIVE FOR GLORY and VANTASTIC CHOICE which lay out. After the race, H Bowman reported that his mount raced keenly in the middle stages and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 4 SPICY SPANGLE (J087) Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 700 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied to avoid MUST GO.
10 8 RUNNING BOY (J041) Slow to begin.
11 9 HICKORY VICTORY (H370) The performance of HICKORY VICTORY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, HICKORY VICTORY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WV 10 HINOKAMI KAGURA (H384) Withdrawn prior to Race 1 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (skin condition). Before being allowed to race again, HINOKAMI KAGURA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
WV SOLAR UP (J134) Withdrawn on 2.4.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter VALHALLA. Before being allowed to race again, SOLAR UP will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
